@28 MILSOM STREET is a member of the Pilates Foundation UK Ltd.

welcome

@28 MILSOM STREET we have an expert knowledge of the body.

In the centre of Bath, amongst the hustle and bustle of shoppers is an oasis of calm that can provide you with the opportunity to look after yourself. Our team of highly skilled clinicians and teachers work together to support your body’s needs. @28 Milsom Street has the experience of osteopaths, Pilates teachers and gyrotonics teachers all under one roof.

Pilates @ 28 Milsom Street is a caring environment where you can stretch, strengthen and de-stress in the hands of professional teachers. We offer classes for the fit and well and one to one or small group training for those with specific needs. All our teachers are Pilates Foundation trained. Matwork training takes at least one year to complete and full training can be completed in a minimum of two years.

One to one training is a great way to learn Pilates. It offers you the opportunity to really learn about how your body works and moves. It can be booked at your convenience and will be tailored to your individual requirements.

Classes are held in our under-floor heated, light and airy matwork space, which hold up to10 people. We run over 20 classes a week, all varying in style and level so there is bound to be one that is suitable for you. Most participants attend a beginner course initially to learn basic exercises and the principles of Pilates. This is a ten-week course and is followed by a discussion with the teacher to establish which future class would best suit your requirements.

Our equipment studio is set up to provide Pilates on a one to one basis. Equipment can be hugely beneficial in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems as its system of springs supports and assists an injured person during movement. Likewise, the equipment is valuable in the training of elite athletes. Simply by changing the spring tension on the equipment exercises can be made incredibly hard to complete.

To book an appointment  with an osteopath or Pilates teacher or to find out about classes ring the studio on 01225 335757.
