PILATES THE TOTAL BEGINNERS COURSE This course is taught by a Pilates Foundation Teacher. It aims to take a group of total beginners through the main principles of Pilates exercise. These principles include flexibility, posture and alignment, corseting of the back and abdominals, control of movements, concentration, relaxation and breathing. Each principle is introduced gradually and built upon week by week so that by the end of the course the participant should have a clear understanding of all the principles and of how they can be achieved successfully. next 10-week total beginners' courses start in September 2008.
The start dates and times are Wednesday 24th September at 7 pm and
Tuesday 30th September at 6.30 pm. The other beginner classes are full. |
